Those who are children of God will hear His voice through His Word.
Are you tired of your life being dry, confused and without direction? Are you weary of having to strive for everything in life? It may be because the river of life inside of you is stopped up.
When you're filled with the Spirit, He governs your choices. Similarly, when you're filled with the knowledge of God's will, your choices reflect godly wisdom and understanding.
Oftentimes a Christ-centered life is equated with going to church, giving, praying, reading the Bible, and talking to other people about Jesus. However, did you know that even if you do every one of these things, it’s still possible to live a life that is controlled by self rather than Christ?
Are you encouraging or discouraging others? If you fail, do you own up to it? Do you quickly admit your failure to the person you promised and refuse to rationalize around it? If you do, you are really rare . . . but a person of genuine integrity.
Genuine success involves doing what the Lord has called you to do, not just occasionally but continually. It has to do with persistence rather than perfection. When this is your definition of success, you can know that the Lord wants you to succeed.
When your conscience sounds the alarm, do you stop and take notice or continue on the same course? Repeatedly ignoring your internal warning system can decrease its effectiveness at keeping you out of trouble.
The Lord isn’t waiting for us to do some big, impressive task for Him; He’s simply calling us to obey Him one small step at a time. Don’t miss the great adventure God has for you. Even when His ways seem unreasonable, follow Him faithfully, and your destiny will unfold before your eyes.
When we trust God to guide us, He, too, can diffuse our anxieties by giving us clear guidance.
The Bible tells us that today we must live with the goal of honoring God and bearing fruit as we seek His will.
